What this site stores

BookOrders is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no comments and no forms that submit anywhere. We do not set any tracking cookie.

The one thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, kept in localStorage under the key theme. It never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear site data.

What loads from other domains

• covers.openlibrary.org - book cover images. Loading an image reveals your IP address and browser details to the Internet Archive, as any image request does.
• upload.wikimedia.org - author portraits, same caveat.

No advertising network, analytics script or social widget runs on this site.

When you follow an Amazon link

Amazon links carry our Associates tag. When you follow one, Amazon sets its own cookie to attribute any resulting purchase to this site - that is how the affiliate programme works. From that point you are on Amazon's site and Amazon's privacy policy applies. We never receive your name, address, payment details or a list of what you bought; Amazon reports only aggregate totals.

Server logs

The site is served by a static host, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, user agent) for operational purposes such as abuse prevention. We do not analyse them for tracking.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone.

If this page changes materially, the change goes live here.
